Our mobile vet care team works closely with you to develop a personalized care plan tailored to your pet’s needs, focusing on pain management, nutritional support, and mobility assistance. We believe in nurturing the bond between you and your pet during this challenging time by providing the following:

  • Tailored Support Plans: Based on your pet’s specific needs, focusing on comfort and quality of life.
  • Pain Management and Symptom Control: To ensure your pet is as comfortable as possible, addressing pain, discomfort, and other distressing symptoms.
  • Guidance and Education: Helping you understand what to expect and how to provide the best care for your pet during this time.
  • Decision-Making Support: Offering guidance and support as you make difficult decisions regarding your pet’s care and eventual need for peaceful euthanasia.

Our hospice care aims to alleviate the stress and discomfort pets may experience in their final days, and allow them to remain at home surrounded by family. In-Home Euthanasia: What to Expect

As veterinary professionals licensed to provide the compassionate service of personalized pet euthanasia, we take great pride in having the technical, medical, and emotional skills needed to ensure a peaceful end-of-life experience for your beloved pet.

Our in-home pet euthanasia services include:

  • Quality-of-Life Discussion: If interested, we’ll have a conversation about your pet’s condition or answer questions regarding in-home euthanasia. Our doctors carry out euthanasia exclusively for pets with either an unmanageable illness, or those with a significantly diminished quality of life.
  • Sedation: To ensure your pet’s comfort, we administer a sedative to help them peacefully drift off to rest before the final injection.
  • Sedation Assessment: We carefully assess your pet to ensure they are in a deep and pain-free rest.
  • Euthanasia: We administer the final injection, providing a gentle and peaceful transition.
  • Memorial Keepsakes: We create a memory clay paw print.
  • Transportation for Cremation: If selected, we handle all aspects of transportation for cremation.

Our Humane Euthanasia Process

Our goal is to ensure a peaceful and dignified farewell tailored to the comfort and preferences of your beloved companion. Here’s how our humane euthanasia process is carried out:

When our veterinarian arrives, they’ll explain the entire procedure to you, taking into account your pet’s comfort and your personal preferences. A sedation injection is administered, which ensures your pet is relaxed and will gradually drift into a tranquil rest before the final injection. The goal of this approach is to ensure a peaceful passing.

After the euthanasia injection is administered, the veterinarian will confirm your pet’s passing. We will give you as much time as you need to say your final goodbyes during this emotional moment. When you’re ready, we’ll create a paw print for you to keep. If we’re handling transportation for cremation, our team will take your pet with them.

Cremation Options

You may choose between private and communal cremation. If you select the private option, your pet will be cremated and their ashes returned in a cedar wood urn. If you choose a communal cremation, your pet will be cremated alongside other pets, and their ashes will not be returned to you.
